Located on private land, at the tip of a picturesque cape, we are surrounded by undisturbed nature, a clear lake and beautiful landscapes. While not a campsite, we are not a crowded, tourist destination, either; but rather an oasis of peace and tranquility.

Our premium-quality, luxury Suite tents are similar to glass igloos and floating igloo boats. There’s no “roughing it” at Maja Lux. Here you´ll experience a night in an igloo-shaped, dome tent.

• Ranging in size from 20-28 square meters and standing at a height of 3-3.5m, our suites provide ample living space for you and your special someone during your stay.
• Your suite has its own terrace, with furniture, and a lockable exterior door; while the large, panoramic window offers a gorgeous view of the lake.
• Sleeping beneath the midnight sun will never be an issue, as each of our suites is equipped with blackout curtains, allowing you to get an excellent night’s rest regardless of the season.
• Quality aesthetics and furnishings add character to this unique accommodation and liken to that of a luxury hotel.
• Bask in the warm glow of the fireplace as it creates the perfect ambiance and atmosphere, or gaze at shooting stars through the skylight (not available on all models).
• Comfort is increased by the Aurora Salt Aroomsalt-aroma diffuser, heating and air heat pumps.
• Sleep softly in a plush double bed, with the possibility of an adding extra bed, if needed.
• An indoor toilet and shower are available in a nearby courtyard building.

In Tarina, you will be able to indulge in a luxurious and genuine glamping experience; complete with your own sauna, swimming beach, campfire ring and a comfortable bed beneath the skylight.

Tarina accommodation experience includes:

COMPANY PRESENTATION

MajaLux was born out of a love for experiences, travel and the beauty of Finnish nature.

Privately owned and operated by entrepreneurial couple, Marjo and Jani,we live in locally Mäntyharju, right next to MajaLux Glamping;so we are also easily reachable throughout your stay.

Originally from Rovaniemi, Marjohas previously worked in a variety of capacities in Lapland’s world-renowned tourism industry. Nowadays, she enjoys being able to deliver and create that same mysticism and experiential tourism to her current hometown. Additionally, Marjo is an experienced nature hiker and relax and Reiki energy healer.

Jani is from Mäntyharju. He is a former top athlete from the rally world and has organized diverse experiential events, particularly in regards to motorsports. You can also ask him to tell stories around the campfire, in South Savoian style, with great heartiness.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW

• Check-in at 4 p.m., check-out by 12 p.m.
• Daily cleaning is included in the accommodation and we agree upon the time when checking in.
• In order to offer our guests the best peace and privacy, we do not receive visitors without a pre-arranged time to come and get to know us.
• Safety is very important to us and as such you are not allowed to have sharp objects, explosives, and open fires anywhere other than the campfire site.
• If using the rowboat and on the SUP boards, you must use safety equipment and behave as instructed.
• Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.
• Drone filming is prohibited on the premises.

• If necessary, you will receive driving directions when booking.
• Transportation from/to the center of Mäntyharju is also included in your reservation.

• The nearest airports are in Helsinki and Lappeenranta.
